Legal duty hours of an academic junior resident is 192 hours/month for which salary is Rs 1, 34,173 .But JR works minimum 400 hours. If we calculate double OT as per labour laws for extra 208 hours total salary must be Rs 4, 24,881

Totally agree. This culture isn’t accidental it’s inherited. Senior staff normalize it, senior PGs amplify it, and juniors end up paying the price. Call it out. Hold them accountable. Break the cycle don’t let it break you.

Who is a fraud HoD? A fraud HoD is the one that intentionally skips duty hours and week offs on duty roster, doesn’t maintain actual duty hours, scolding instead of mentoring, and does forgery in duty roster to hide actual illegal duty hours of resident doctors.
