Went to the LPGA event. Few notes: - The ladies hit a lot of fairways. Bomb & gouge isn’t their game. Shows how much dispersion and distance are related. - They’re slow. All pros are but some of them are especially slow. - If you like how golf was played back in the day, you’ll love going to an LPGA event. Fairway woods, long irons, and playing strategically are their thing. Follow a group and you’ll learn some game management skills. - It is fun to watch golf at this extremely high level not be about overpowering the course. I love that too. But the women’s game is a pleasure to watch, especially in-person.
