@monsterhunter45 Is there any paid advertising that isnt a waste?
I don't think anybody trusts a product that was put in front of them in exchange for money
English
I try to inform my fans about a new book release, the algos go lol, fuck you, seven of your 50k followers will see this. I tweet a story from when I was a kid about Ceaser Chavez being scum, 2.1 million views now.
But anyways, for the eleven of you who will see this, Monster Hunter Files 2 came out two weeks ago. :D
English

@TiltAtGiants Romantasy is romance structure in a fantasy setting, typically.
Primary versus secondary plot.
English

@HJamesWrites Competition is just a wrong answer.
The worst case scenario is somebody writing a book so bad it makes the reader stop being a reader, and that's a hinderance not competition.
English

@caro_irl Cracking packs is a gambling addiction.
Hence, I have some surprisingly expensive tokens for mtg taken from other games...
English

@TiltAtGiants They have different specialties.
If it's "who would win in a fight" I'm probably not going to answer about my tech noir detective. He's just a dude with a gun and the patience to deal with people in the slums.
English

@KrakeJames Aren't they all peak?
Haha.
Yea, I hear you on that.
English

@SaffronOlive Though, Dandan specifically shouldn't have been a secret lair. It should have been a boxed product at major retailers.
English

@SaffronOlive This is going to sound crazy, but they could triple the price and then use an exponential decay system.
They'd have to finesse the time variable and the initial price, but if done right it would fix everything.
Particularly if they allow limit orders.
English

@MichaelFKane Microsoft will never be able to give me a satisfying explanation as to why auto correct decided to change "Were you[...]" to "We're you[...]"
English

@KrakeJames I'm convinced basic autocorrect is much worse than it used to be.
English

False equivalence. Unlike AI, typewriters cannot choose my next word for me.
Marcus Pittman@ImKingGinger
@MichaelFKane Typewriters are acceptable tools or writing but I don't recommend it. Tech is cool.
English

@drewlevin I can only guess what you're talking about, but I tried remapping the melee button to my scroll wheel, which had been change weapon.
Now it melees AND changes my weapon despite the UI saying otherwise.
This has gotten me killed (in game) multiple times and pissed me off.
English

@TiagoRResende Yeah but what about when your trivia knowledge comes up randomly in public?
English

@KrakeJames Yeah, no problem with that. And I can explain my choices as to how I interpret this stuff in the narrative. In the end, I always pick what makes the most sense within the story's themes and existing world theory.
English

@TiagoRResende Full disclosure is certainly an option...
English

@KrakeJames I try to keep my epistemology solid by taking my time with research. Multiple sources, take notes of relevant stuff for my work and compare between sources for inconsistencies.
English

@therutholarrie I have tried to target word counts, and written 80k regardless. Unless I put extreme scope limitations, I end up writing 80k every time.
This is not intentional.
English

@aether_boye @RealPostFolder According to AI, I was off by several orders of magnitude. There's like 10 billion years worth of food.
English

@KrakeJames @RealPostFolder It would probably take more than 100 years to even finish 1 grocery store
English

@RealPostFolder Answer depends entirely on whether I have to retrieve the ball afterward.
For a hundred mil though, eat it.
