The newest line item in your tech budget? Geopolitics. As our CEO @KrantzTed shares with @InformationWeek, regulators are coming for CIOs, inquiring about security compliance, ties to adversarial nations, and more. In short, tech purchasing is an increasingly precarious task. Read more below to see how Ted breaks down what these changes mean for tech leaders navigating a tricky restriction landscape: informationweek.com/it-infrastruct… #Technology #AI #Geopolitics #RiskManagement

The Weaponization of the Global Supply Chain has begun. The USA vs China for control of the chessboard
interos.ai@interos_ai

Our data featured in @Inc today shows how the Middle East conflict is already disrupting critical industries and trade flows, with ripple effects far beyond the region. Notably, 30% of the S&P 500 have Tier 1 suppliers in the Middle East, creating significant exposure and real business implications for U.S. companies. Geopolitical friction is becoming a day-to-day variable for global supply chains: fast-moving, hard to predict, and costly when ignored. Business leaders can’t afford to treat geopolitical tensions as anomalies in their supply chain planning. Today, they're part of the reality of global operations. Our Chief Executive Officer @KrantzTed explains how to build supply chains for the future in today’s connected economy: by treating geopolitics as core infrastructure for their operations. Following the Supreme Court’s ruling on Friday against the IEEPA tariffs, President Trump quickly announced new, 10% global tariffs. Over the weekend, he said these would increase to 15%. Today, these tariffs came into effect at 10% according to government documentation, initiating a 150-day window for the tariffs to persist without Congressional approval. U.S. trade policy remains a continued source of market and supply chain uncertainty, with a lack of clarity on tariff refunds, whether the global rate will increase to 15% or more, and what this does to existing trade agreements. Yesterday’s stock market drops reflect this growing market uncertainty sparked by tariff fluctuations and AI disruptions. Read our full analysis of the Court’s decision and broader implications here: interos.ai/blog/decision-…

Today, the Supreme Court struck down the tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). However, while it resolved the long-awaited ruling on IEEPA, it opened the door for new tariffs within hours. interos.ai is tracking policy shifts, trade flows, and market signals to help organizations stay ahead of disruption. The next supply chain shock will not come from factories. It will come from people. As Gen Z takes over the global workforce, AI disruption, job insecurity, and economic pressure are igniting protests in countries critical to global supply chains. interos.ai’s geopolitical risk model shows that half of countries with Gen Z protests in 2025 maintained high or extreme political instability scores, and 40% faced severe socio-economic instability. Our Predictions Report reveals why Gen Z-driven unrest is becoming a first order supply chain risk in 2026. 👉 Read the full report: interos.ai/six-supply-cha… #SupplyChain #GenZ #2026Predictions

As @interos_ai CEO @KrantzTed shared with Glenn Gow on the Scaling CEO Podcast, the next generation of SaaS leadership will be spearheaded by those who can orchestrate data, software, and applied AI as one unified engine. C-level leadership demands a shift in the traditional operating model, and that means taking an active learning approach. In turn, this creates the space for other voices and opens the door for better thinking. Listen to the full episode here: youtube.com/watch?v=Gp8vUD… #SaaS #Leadership #CEO

The AI race is accelerating, mirroring the dynamics of the Space Race: superpowers vying for dominance, new entrants rushing for relevance, and global systems shifting beneath it all. The real differentiator: data. AI depends on trusted data, with momentum building toward Sovereign AI and the desire for complete autonomy across the AI supply chain as geopolitical threats grow. Add the challenge of disappearing data from global government agencies, and never before has trustworthy data been so critical but so challenging. The AI race is powered by data but shaped by geopolitics in the quest to transform the new world order. #AI #SupplyChain #2026Predictions THREAD (1/2)⬇️

Fewer than 10% of Fortune 1000 companies monitor risk across all tiers, which leaves blind spots with geopolitical, economic, and technological consequences. Success in the coming year isn’t just about removing risk from our supply chains, it’s about using everything at our disposal as a strategic advantage: your data, supplemental survey-based data, and market data are all required to build a 360-degrees view into your global supply chain. Our 2026 Predictions Report explores where risk is headed next: geopolitical targeting of supply chains, the rise of AI-driven national competition, the fight for mineral dominance, data-center fragility, the Gen Z + AI workforce equation, and a shifting global currency landscape. The future of risk is already here. Are you seeing it clearly? Download the report: interos.ai/six-supply-cha…

The supply chain risk all business leaders need to watch: surging silver prices. Our CEO @KrantzTed spoke with @InformaTTGT to explain how rising silver prices are driven by supply deficits, rising demand, and geopolitical pressures, creating massive volatility across technology supply chains. Critical mineral risk causes a ripple effect throughout technology supply chains, cascading into higher costs and longer lead times for product manufacturing and procurement. At @interos_ai, we help organizations see these risks early and stay ahead of disruptions, even when prices change on a dime. Forced labor remains one of the most persistent and underestimated supply chain risks in the world. 28 million people, mostly women and children, are subjected to forced labor worldwide, according to the International Labour Organization. @interos_ai is proud to be a part of @wef's Global Data Partnership Against Forced Labour. Together, we build a platform of collective intelligence, using federated data infrastructure and agentic articulation intelligence. @interos_ai Chief Product & Technology Officer @yipstas joined a panel with @wef to discuss why forced labor persists despite global efforts for due diligence, policy progress, and increased visibility and what we can do about it. The biggest takeaway: the fight to end forced labor requires more than just good intentions. It requires connected data, real accountability, and collective intelligence to break down siloes and eradicate forced labor from global supply chains. CFOs are entering 2026 with optimism but also significant new exposure. Geopolitical shifts, regulatory pressure, and deep-tier supplier risks are redefining the CFO mandate and making visibility a financial priority. In this @ForbesTechCncl article, @interos_ai CEO @KrantzTed explains why supply chain risk has become a core C-suite concern and how hidden disruptions can erode margins, slow operations and harm reputation. Key themes include: 🌐 The supply chain’s shift from cost center to strategic asset ⚠️ The growing pressure created by regulatory, geopolitical and financial forces 📊 The need for real-time, quantifiable risk insight in decision-making The takeaway is clear: CFOs who identify risk early and act with clarity will shape stronger outcomes in 2026. 👉 Read the full article: forbes.com/councils/forbe…
