Few more weeks and BTC.D could finally go down, it's forming one of my favourite short setups as in example. Downtrend compression into ema100, for now expecting it to go up before potential breakdown.

The trend is your friend. It is easy to say but difficult to implement, especially in a downtrend. 80% of traders here have been trying to long every lower low over the past 5 months, so they will probably be right once when the trend finally changes. I'm not sure how much money they have left. The 20% of us who have been riding the downtrend will probably be wrong once the trend shifts, but I am pretty sure that will not change much in our portfolio. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, but a broken portfolio is not easy to fix.

@tradermatt Intetesting detail is the weekly bearish candle on jan 19, cause it got a flat open on most exchanges a rare sight for a weekly candle. Usually those get run at some point, but when does that point come I dont have data.

$BTC doesn’t look great here. • Still ranging after a failed breakout above $74k. • Currently sitting on minor 4H support around $69.5k. If this bounces, I’d expect another push into $74k — which I’d view as a spot to look for shorts. For longs, the more attractive area sits closer to $65.5k.
