@adenmurphy @EdmElections @CityofEdmonton Same experience here. Over an hour wait. How can this be so much less efficient than the federal election?
English

@EdmElections @CityofEdmonton It’s been easily the longest I’ve had to wait to vote. I’ve been in line outside for 45 minutes in Bonnie Doon, and probably have another 20 to go.
The federal vote took 10 minutes max.
English

@robicellis Haha, my stepson just asked me tonight "can we have that cheese lasagna rice thing for dinner" =D
English

@MarkyRoden Nearly all the problems with online voting are "people" problems, not technical ones. That said, there are plenty of technical problems with that approach as well... How would you make sure that the person using the cert to vote was actually the person you issued it to?
English

@GentScientist @akajb84 @PresChoice Pretty sure the rat is pureed. Chunks of rat is just nasty.
In all seriousness though, "non plant based" cookies are mostly yet another clever butter delivery mechanism. Eggs are frequent stars as well.

@robicellis "I will defend my use of the term baby oven to the death if necessary" lol, oh man...

Just came home, checked the comments, and we've done caught ourselves a "not to be that guy" guy on this one!

@travislicious Does Google give you a special prize if you can double your Chrome version number in a single update? if so, I guess you've missed out for another half decade or so.

@GentScientist @gehrehmee @kimbeaudin @akajb84 @mijustin @bethcodes @troypavlek (he says, responding to a notification sent by a media site :D )
English

@GentScientist @gehrehmee @kimbeaudin @akajb84 @mijustin @bethcodes @troypavlek Hmm, also don't have a recommendation. But I think letting media sites send me notifications is a anti-happiness pattern, so I am not the duck to ask unfortunately :( .

@kenjilopezalt Walked down the aisle to Claire de Lune. Glad Alicia is getting a taste of excellent music!
English

@BraveTart @tuktuklex How many of yours have something to do with making sure butter is the correct temperature? ;)
English

@robicellis Such a good season, and so sad to know that we'll probably not see another one :(
English

@GentScientist @donttrythis Lol the audio on this makes it 100% horiffying and the visual is 100% hilarious. Can't decide what to feel anymore. Send help.
English

@BraveTart @seriouseats And a Stranger Things reference to boot :D

We finally have an authentic waffle cone recipe up on @seriouseats (dot com)! Process in my stories.🍦 instagram.com/p/B03tSXoHMEO/…

@johnnyboy64 @GentScientist Yeah, probably this. Palace of lamb flesh is *way* more metal though.
English

@GentScientist @KrisRMitchell Make copious amounts of pita bread and garlic sauce?
English

What will they do with it once they have bought it? There is nowhere to store it. When they say buy up .... they mean then destroy? Lambs bred and killed for nothing? And what will happen to next year’s? This is just criminally wrong. What the hell is wrong with this government?!
BBC Newsnight@BBCNewsnight
Government plans to buy up hundreds of thousands of tonnes of unsold lamb in the event of a no-deal Brexit could be unworkable because there is nowhere to store it, BBC Newsnight has learned bbc.in/2K9KDU1 MORE from 22:30 | @BBCTwo | @ElizabethGlinka | #newsnight

@troypavlek @anyGould Eh. Yeah. I guess my pitchfork just isn't sharp enough for Twitter :)
English

@KrisRMitchell @anyGould Sure, but I don't agree that it's UNfair either. Based on the picture, it looks like there's a lot of space. I don't think it's unreasonable to say "hey, there's a lot of space here, it's probably not new"
The one organization able to correct that record, didn't.
English

@anyGould @troypavlek Perhaps I missed the other two spots. I definitely only saw one at first glance, for a van of that size. I don't disagree with you guys. Dude's not legally parked, needs his lights on. But "oh just park over there" isn't totally fair either.
English

@KrisRMitchell @troypavlek Well, I see two, possibly three spaces in that photo. Although I suppose it's possible everyone else in the neighborhood saw the cops arrived and wisely evacuated the area? (See also Troy's point.)
English

@troypavlek @anyGould No, no, I definitely agree. I mean, I think the Twitter pile on is a bit excessive, but the response from EPS wasn't reasonable, and they are certainly not legally parked. I just don't think "but why couldn't they park over there" is a valid argument.
English

@KrisRMitchell @anyGould Still irrelevant as it only applies when the lights are on.
This police van is parked illegally, full stop.
Even in that case, this response from the EPS is both arrogant, disrespectful and uninformed.
