I dont usually respond to moronic claims, but the simple fact is free market capitalism has raised BILLIONS out of poverty & has been the single greatest engine of human prosperity in history. When GOVERNMENTS get involved, however, things go sideways. It is almost a perfect negative correlation to human welfare between government involvement in economic decisionmaking and prosperity. Before you whine about the U.S. system, understand it is CRONYISM, not Free Market capitalism. WAY too many industries are DOMINATED by firms who spend on lobbying and regulatory "outreach" as competitive weapons. Insurance, Pharma and of course, Banking are oligopolies made MUCH more profitable by regulatory capture.
