@therustedpixel Re: organisation, if you want to select all objects in a Collection- right click it and use ‘select hierarchy’ and if you want to group multiple objects into a new or existing Collection, select them in the viewport and hit M.
Meanwhile yep- that window is called the Outliner.

@therustedpixel I always imagined Collections as a layer group in Photoshop. You can point most things to a single object or a Collection of objects, you can also import whole collections into other scenes. It’s decorative organisation really, grouping.
Nulls are in Blender, called empties.

Couple of questions for Blender users. What is a collection? Is it like a null? How do you create new collections? Can they be nested to keep things tidy? Also what is the window called? In C4D it's the Object Manager. I think I heard someone call it the Outliner.

Lately I make a very deliberate effort to immerse myself in the films that I watch; no judgement, no expectations. I try not analyzing them as they are happening, but rather taking them at face value. AD ASTRA is one of those films that highly rewards you if you enter its world.

AD ASTRA is one of the most underrated science-fiction films of the last several years. James Gray's contemplative, at times surrealistic voyage into deep space is both beautifully minimalist and emotionally immense. This sequence in IMAX was quietly immersive and awe-inspiring.

Did you know Moho was used in Scavengers Reign? The show animation is traditional, but Jose Rosado IG: rosado_jl used Moho for #animation, cleanup and retakes. “Moho can give quick results, indistinguishable from traditional”. Watch SR on Netflix. It deserves a new season!

@Oddernod @tonikopantoja @Procreate @LightBoxExpo I was at the London reveal and @AaronBlaiseArt had a demo that definitely featured some frame-flipping. Traditional animation takes you into a slightly seperate area of the app that looks like regular Procreate, away (but very easily reachable) from the compositing timeline.

@tonikopantoja @Procreate @LightBoxExpo The frame flipping is the biggest question mark for me - everyone’s raving about it changing animation but I haven’t seen that basic functionality demo’d yet.

I tried @Procreate dreams at @LightBoxExpo . It’s looking very promising, and I can see a lot of cool work come from this. I can see myself boarding on this and making fully edited and posed out animatics (and maybe full animation). I however didn’t see a frame flipping tool!
