@raghu_venugopal @Tablesalt13 A handful of anecdotal stories does not make for a great HC system. Transitioning from the peds to adult system is an abysmal MESS with a 1+ year gap in most care. Our healthcare system has very serious issues which make people unsafe and we know it.

My patients with ankle injury who can go home safely get xrays, orthopedic boot, crutches, effective analgesia and next day orthopedic surgery appointment. That's Canada's publicly funded healthcare system. Not sure where @Tablesalt13 is practising medicine, if at all.

As his Godmom, I held him as he took his last breath yesterday. I am heartbroken. 💔 I am thankful to have been able to help him and his Mom these past three months while he lived with us. I have no words, this is so hard. 😭
