The Pentagon summoned the Pope's ambassador, told him the United States has the military power to do "whatever it wants," and warned that the Church better take its side.
They even invoked the Avignon Papacy, a dark chapter in history when a government used military force to bend the Church to its will.
So where exactly does this end? If the Pope refuses to fall in line, what's the next move, bomb the Vatican?

@conspiracyb0t I like your posts... typically. This is so dumb. People have been trying this whole lyrics in reverse garbage for so long. Why would she sing "im billie eilish" ffs?

@ProfessorPop3ye @jgrange2go @IRanMediaco You are aware that the we funded ISIS and Al-Qaeda? We have no room to talk about proxies. The iranians fought and killed more ISIS soldiers than anyone in the middle east. The instability and craziness in the middle east for the last 70 yrs is because of us & Israel. Not Iran
English

@jgrange2go @IRanMediaco Says the 🤡 that’s got nothing but an insult …. Do you know what proxies are ? 🤦♂️
English

@ProfessorPop3ye @Hicks2Guantnamo @IRanMediaco Dude are you serious?? The west is the Armageddon worshipping radicals.
English

@Hicks2Guantnamo @IRanMediaco The west isn’t full of Armageddon worshiping radicals…. We don’t attack others for religious beliefs. If that were the case Iran and all those terrorist hot spots woulda been gone long ago….
English

@AntiFeminismGuy @iownthelibs @Nostre_damus @DeItaone No one said we were defeated. You said we lost zero soldiers.
English

Also, I get it that you're feeble of mind, but we are in a war.
You think if America has 20 casualties while annihilating the IRGC threat.... then America is defeated?
That's a crazy level of retardation. Got to stop inbreeding if you want a chance of being smarter...
Fighting evil has it's costs, and so far our losses have been laughably minimal.

@unusual_whales Doing something bad? Were the 160 little girls "doing something bad?" Idc what the guy bank rolling Epstein has to say when it comes to morality.

JPMorgan's Dimon: Obviously, gas prices going up going to hurt people a little bit, but they still have money to spend and they still have jobs… I hear people say they were not imminent threat. These people have been doing something bad for 47 years. These are bad people that needed to be stopped.
English

@Aladecho5 @Fressshhh2 @IRanMediaco This existential for iran. Israel and th US dont want regime change. They want a failed state that israel can then control. This is irans only leverage. Iran is allowing the world can to go thru the straight. They just have to purchase goods in yuan.
English

@Fressshhh2 @IRanMediaco The war must stop. We cannot continue like this

On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted.
Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness.
I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.
I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this.
The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon.
You know who has nuclear weapons?
Israel.
They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it.
Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing.
On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies.
Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians.
Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace.
Not escalating war that is hurting people.
This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most.
This is not making America great again, this is evil.

English

@KingKong9888 @MoxLoxKox Eric you're awesome! Thank you for the massive effort you put in. When we look back on this period in history and people ask "what did you do?" You will have this body of work to point to and say "I spoke the truth to everyone that would listen." Thank you.

🚨Why U.S. Refineries Still Rely on Middle Eastern Heavy Sour Crude ; And Why Sour Matters for Diesel:
Despite the shale boom making the United States the world’s largest crude oil producer, America remains a net importer of crude oil. In early 2026, U.S. refineries continue to import around 6.5 million barrels per day of foreign crude while exporting roughly 3.8 million, a structural gap driven not by overall volume, but by chemistry and refinery design.
WTI light sweet crude, the benchmark from the Permian and other U.S. basins, is ideal for producing high yields of gasoline and jet fuel with minimal processing. It’s light (flows easily, high API gravity) and sweet (very low sulfur, typically under 0.5%). But most American refineries, particularly the complex Gulf Coast facilities that make up nearly 70% of U.S. capacity, were engineered decades ago to run on a blend that includes heavier, sour crudes from the Middle East, Canada, and Latin America.
⭕️Here’s where heavy sour crude becomes essential, especially for diesel production:
Heavy sour grades have higher density and significantly higher sulfur content (often >0.5%, sometimes much more). They contain more complex, longer hydrocarbon chains that end up in the “bottom of the barrel” during initial distillation. U.S. Gulf Coast refineries are equipped with advanced upgrading units, cokers, hydrocrackers, and hydrotreaters, precisely to break down these heavy residues and convert them into valuable middle distillates like diesel and jet fuel.
Sour crude’s sulfur must be removed through energy-intensive hydrodesulfurization (hydrotreating), a process that turns sulfur compounds into hydrogen sulfide for capture. This step is critical because modern environmental regulations demand ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) for cleaner combustion in trucks, ships, and heavy equipment. Without the heavy molecules from sour crude, and the sophisticated equipment designed to process them, refiners couldn’t maximize diesel output efficiently. Running pure light sweet WTI would leave expensive upgrading capacity underutilized, reduce overall yields of diesel, and hurt refinery margins.
In practice, about 90% of U.S. crude imports are heavier than domestic shale oil for exactly this reason: the blend optimizes the full product slate (gasoline + diesel + petrochemicals) while keeping costs competitive for American consumers and exporters.
Middle Eastern heavy sour barrels (from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and others) remain strategically important not just for volume, but for the molecular profile that keeps the world’s largest refining system running at peak efficiency.
Disruptions to these supply chains, whether from geopolitical tensions or Hormuz risks, could force costly adjustments, lower diesel availability, and raise prices at the pump and for freight.

@DarioCpx Btw jealous youre in Phillipines. Teach us how to make this type of world travel money 🤣
English

I am currently in the Philippines 🇵🇭 and I asked some of the locals how’s the situation with oil here since, to my surprise, I saw no panic whatsoever so far.
✅ Gasoline is up from ~60PHP to ~140PHP (or ~2.32$) per L in a month
❌ Demand not only hasn’t decreased so far, but because of rush to get extra oil before price increases further, people and businesses bought more Gasoline and Diesel
⚠️ Every single business is including higher fuel costs into prices, but they haven’t seen drop in demand or bookings for the summer season
✅ People are aware there might be significant less fuel available soon, but nobody is cutting on his own consumption saying they plan to adapt if the scarcity will effectively manifest itself
Overall the approach to the matter feels like “isn’t going to be just my problem, but everyone’s so no need to stress about it.”
❌ HK and Philippines airports were packed, no flight cancellations whatsoever because of lack of Jet Fuel.
My overall feeling about this anecdotal experience so far is that everyone thinks this is just a temporary problem. Contrary to what we read in the news, I don’t see much planning ahead concretely. This also leads me to believe that the price point where we will start seeing demand destruction is much much higher than current projections of 150$ or even 200$. If this is the case for a country like Philippines I believe is fair to assume the price point is even higher for developed economies.
Talking to other friends currently in Indonesia, China, Australia, Taiwan or Japan they shared similar accounts of what I observed here. The only person who flagged me significant impact is the manager of a factory in Europe that makes plastic products and after Easter they plan to cut production from 3 shifts a day to 2 shifts not because of high prices but because their suppliers already cut the deliveries of oil raw materials they agreed to before.
Clearly life will goes on till troubles, eventually, materialise.
JustDario 🏊♂️@DarioCpx
The fuel surcharge I have been just quoted for the Philippines literally doubled the cost of the local boat tours I booked well in advance - just a fyi
English

@DarioCpx With something like boat tours, thats a price they can pass on to the tourist who is expecting to pay whatever. What about locals who use fuel for their own purposes. If you expanded your polling audience you may find a different sentiment? Idk. I know im concerned here in u.s.
English

@DonDurrett @JochenKnaebel I bet its going to upset a lot of people, and im here for it. Just release it. Haters be damned!
