Hydra is already at 2.0.0 alpha! Cardano's eUTXO model has a lot of strengths, but I think the protocol that actually moves the needle in production is Hydra.
This 2.0.0 alpha drops the commit phase entirely, which simplifies the Head lifecycle a lot. It also cleans up real operational pain points like Plutus script time handling on mainnet and deposit isolation across multiple Heads. The pace of development here is seriously impressive.
I think the trilemma of decentralization, security, and scalability is something no chain has cleanly solved. I genuinely believe Hydra is the piece that completes Cardano's scalability puzzle.
Keeping L1 security and finality while taking L2 scaling natively is a structural advantage you won't find in other ecosystems.
In a market where Ethereum is the default standard, Hydra is the strongest weapon Cardano has.

@NaVi_GaT0R @FluidTokens Fair. Likely because of some bias. If anything Charles is showing some level of inconsistency. IE defending when he wants and decentralized governance when he wants. But tbh the timing really couldn’t feel worse for Cardano to have another identity crisis.

Maybe not a popular take but I am calling for this guy to be pardoned. Unless the DOJ plans on going after all the crooks in congress currently insider trading, this is simply skewed justice. There is no “justice” when guys like this get the book thrown at him yet members are illegally profiting every day. I don’t agree with what he did and he should be required to disgorge all the profits however, unless the DOJ plans on doing Congress next, this is not justice.
