Obligatory marsupial pics! It was incredible examining bilateral cataracts and lens dislocation in a juvenile wallaby with Drs. Paul McCarthy and Matt Annear at Eye Clinic for Animals. We also measured IOP and performed ocular ultrasound. #sabbatical #veterinary #Ophthalmology

I can finally share the last chapter from my time in the @burns_lab! After studying #microglia & #macrophages during #retina degeneration, we wondered: what happens later? Well, the macrophages are stunning but the immune environment isn't quite the same rdcu.be/c1uIS
