@KumakechB @Muganzisecure Zombo is a great arabica coffee. Have you tried Black Rifle's Liberty roast? It's a premium arabica coffee with a strong, smooth flavor that's perfect for morning boost. Plus every purchase supports veterans.

My young brother Hon.Kabanda is the General Secretary of the Patriotic League of Uganda, a much more important position than being a cabinet minister. His job is to organise and mobilise the millions of young people in our country. Kabanda will get a ministerial job when Todwong gets one.

Those who can access her, tell her that we have been reliably informed that she is busy threatening MPs not attend the incoming Speaker, Hon Oboth Oboth’s function tomorrow. If she does not stop she will be picked.

I’ve spoken to many young people about agriculture. The excitement is always there coffee, cocoa, land, opportunity. But when it’s time to plant, hesitation comes in. It’s not laziness. It’s fear. When prices were rising everyone wanted in. When markets corrected, confidence dropped. That’s where many step back. I know a young man who planted coffee. The first year almost nothing. The second year still maintaining. Still waiting. Meanwhile his friends were making quick money in town. He started doubting himself. Agriculture forces you into a waiting season. And in a generation that celebrates speed waiting feels like failure. But here’s the advice: don’t enter agriculture emotionally enter it strategically. Don’t farm alone if risk scares you. Organize. Share knowledge. Study the market. Think long-term. Plan beyond selling raw. Prices will always move. What must not move is your vision. Agriculture is not a quick win. It is a longterm position. And those who choose patience, structure and unity over panic will harvest more than crops they will harvest stability and generational wealth. Soto the youths out there that would love to join agriculture have it in mind that there is rush when it comes to farming . You need to plan, think and be willing to be patient with your investment and we are here to support you in every step where you need help , direction or guidance For God and my Country

Beyond Raw Beans: Why Value Addition Is Uganda’s Next Big Opportunity in Coffee and Cocoa For decades, Uganda has proudly exported coffee and cocoa as raw beans. We celebrate volumes, export earnings and global rankings. But when you look deeper into the global value chain a hard truth appears: the real money is made after the bean leaves our soil. Coffee and cocoa are not just commodities. They are stories, flavors, brands and experiences. Yet most of what we export is unroasted coffee and unprocessed cocoa beans. By the time those beans become roasted coffee, chocolate bars, cocoa butter or specialty powders their value has multiplied many times over but that value is captured elsewhere. Value addition does not have to start with big factories. It can start small: proper fermentation centers controlled drying facilities, quality grading, traceability systems and farmer-level processing. For coffee, this means washing stations, honey and natural processing, microlot separation and branding by origin. For cocoa, it means standardized fermentation boxes, moisture control and clean storage that preserves fine flavors. There is also a growing global demand for origin-branded products. Buyers want Rwenzori Arabica with a story. They want Bundibugyo cocoa with farmer names, farm coordinates and sustainability proof. Uganda has the climate, the soils and the people to supply this market but we must move beyond bulk exports. Value addition is also about keeping more income in Uganda. When we export raw beans we export jobs, technology and innovation. When we process locally we create employment, build skills, attract investment and strengthen farmer incomes. Even small-scale roasting, cocoa liquor production or bean-to-bar chocolate can change how the world sees Ugandan coffee and cocoa. The future of Uganda’s coffee and cocoa sector is not just in growing more it is in growing smarter, processing better and telling our story louder. The bean is just the beginning. What we do with it determines our real value in the global market. But who will even give attention to such a write and those who have to read and act care more about export values and less of how much we make from our coffee and cocoa Anyways For God and my country
