@MDoofis @DAGToddBlanche @POTUS Hearing starts June 29th: My best guess is hearing process is done and final rule to reschedule all marijuana issued before end of year, likely in Q3. Seems fast to me!

1/5 Citron is short $VCX . $VCX is trading at $400+. Its assets are worth $19. SIMPLE MATH. The sponsor was fined by the SEC for paying 200+ influencers to promote their products without disclosure — willfully, for five years. They registered the domain GetVCX.com. Not VCXinfo. Not learnaboutVCX. Get. The domain name itself is the pitch. Their own prospectus discloses "Other Expenses – Marketing: 0.42%" charged to investors — roughly $3 million a year on a publicly traded security. Who is getting that money? . Full thread below. 🧵

I have travelled to every continent. No more than 15-20% of any country’s population is intelligent (IQ > 110) & attractive. Using this metric, the US has 60 million. Canada at 5 million. China at 200 million. India at 300 million intelligent & attractive men & women.

As I am too young to remember, how on earth did Clinton manage to get from 4% fiscal deficit to 2% surplus? Can it be done again, or was it just luck?

@Seawolfcap People are exaggerating actual duration held by banks/brokers and Schwab deposits are stickiest there is. This all fixes itself with either time (roll off and reinvest at higher rates = accretive) and/or decline in rates.

@HayekAndKeynes Currently annualizing close to $1T interest payments extrapolated over 75 years would be meaningful on this Y axis?

Will Social Security survive? The government has a lot of unfunded liabilities but they also have a lot of future expected cash flow. Clearly the US has more IOUs than income but the magnitude of the situation isn’t as hopeless as some would leave you to believe by just dividing the delta by GDP. It will however require meaningful structural reform and some shifts in tax policy and ideally some growth focused policy to boost GDP (and taxes). To get things in balance. If these don’t happen, which is entirely possible given the absence of adult leaders, then things will gradually get worse (I’m not an MMT believer).
