Riding along was Mary Scott, a civilian in the Citizens Law Enforcement Academy. Traveling around 55 mph, they suddenly saw a large, dark, bipedal figure burst from the right and cross directly in front of their patrol car. The deputy slammed the brakes. But no photos, no public confessions, and the remote late-night location doesn’t scream “prank.” After weighing the claims, I’m left with the video and those genuine reactions. They saw something big on two feet — clearly furry, not just a runner. They were alarmed enough to investigate. Those authentic sounds of surprise from a deputy and passenger who weren’t hunting Bigfoot that night? That’s what convinces me this was a genuine Bigfoot sighting.
