With due credits I share this video of a fable whose moral is that we should be careful who we elevate because bringing them down may cost us everything. The tragic greed, incompetence and corruption that has disgraced the leadership of the 11th Parliament cannot be blamed only on the outgoing leaders of the parliament. The responsibility for the abuse of office doesn’t lie with the abusers of the offices alone. The ultimate responsibility lies with the members who put them in the positions they abused in the first place. The 12th Parliament may not pick up all the broken pieces but it has a duty to pick up the pieces.

@kasujja The announcement to postpone the 3rd martyrs June was so scary. Perhaps a delay pass such news would save much. So, no 3rd June and no registered case in Ugandan and ug is blacklisted now.

She was linked to the first case of a Congolese man who’d travelled to the country for treatment, died and was confirmed to have had the virus. His body was sent back to the DRC. Health workers and others who interacted with the two cases were traced and are now in isolation- being monitored. None of them has so far tested positive for Ebola. There are no local infections. Meaning, no Ugandan or person living in Uganda has Ebola. That’s our truth.

Hon. TAYEBWA THOMAS Bwana hon @Thomas_Tayebwa, my proposal in the next parliament is that we start a tourism week, like one we did once under @RebeccaKadagaUG. That week, we shall engage MPs about how tourism can get their voters out of poverty. We shall have private sector members exhibit at parliement, members can have one on one discussions. We shall identify tourism attractions across the country and educate members of parliament about how those can generate wealth. We shall discuss the possibility of members of parliement to invest in tourism and business in general. We also want to make sure many of members of parliement come to kasese during @RwenzoriMarathn just to see how activities like Rwenzori marathon create massive economic opportunities. My desire to see that each leader is able to atleast employ 50 people from their investment from their earnings. That will help MPs understand how the economy actually works. Some do. I can’t wait to engage you after the election hon @Thomas_Tayebwa soon.

I just got mugged. Picked a BODA from kololo mosque, they followed me (3 Boda’s) & attacked in that bend from Ntinda to kiwatule (just before mosque). They took my bag (laptop) but Allhamdulilah I am safe. I ran, tried screaming but people just looked on, guys sped off (9:02 PM). This is one of their plate numbers
