Best spot he’s EVER BEEN at a PGA Championship after 36 holes in terms of relation to the leader.
HOW. It’s felt like a complete disaster.
The course has played into his hands beyond extend and could not capitalize. The putts don’t fall in major championships and I’m frankly distraught.

He hits every putt well above average in terms of on line. Team Spieth can not read greens and has never been able to read greens.

@SpiethSlam Yup, kinda ruined my day, lol. Really want him to win this week. Feel like he should’ve ended -3 today, worst case scenario -2. Bogeying 8 I assumed, but bogeying 7 with 110 in and no birdie on 9 just couldn’t happen. Hopefully he brings his grade A short game/putting tomorrow.

Positives: Jordan shot his first opening under par round in a major since The Open in 2024. -1 and currently T12. His ball striking and driving was elite.
Negatives: He didn't get anything out of his round. The hybrid on the par 3s was awful and so was his short game. #PGAChamp
