Let’s clear up squat depth since there seem to be so many powerlifting experts on here lol
Joe’s depth here is what’s called parallel (where the hip crease is at or just below the top of the knee)
This would be white lighted (aka good lift) by judges in a meet
THIS is the standard for powerlifting and ass to grass is not required in a meet
This is what we’re aiming for if strength is our primary goal with the squat movement

Where your hamstrings touch your calves
This version is more for overall leg development and building muscle
At the end of the day, understand the two differences and what their purposes are for

If you watch, she complete moved her foot to get hit. However in softball, you don't have to avoid getting hit, you just can't step into a pitch. This is probably still hitting her back foot, so a good call.
Additionally, the catcher can't step out to get it, as that would be catcher's interference.
