@farmer_donn @grassncows Not always… Some places offer a take now and pay in June Interest free. Buying fuel in offseason has saved us huge dollars over the years.

@grassncows Having a bulk tank to take a transport makes buying at low prices a lot easier l.. you gotta pay Intrest on it, but it’s like having a feed pile account. It’s there when you need it

Curious if any of my producer friends are doing anything to secure their fuel prices over the next while? or is everything prebought if you are a grain farmer and not a rancher? Any strategies out there I might be missing?

So Jim Mann, brother of Jason Mann, that also owned part of AgraShitty is trying to raise money to buy back AGCTY. But this time you can trust him. Why didnt he stop taking farmers preorders in 2025 when he knew they were never going to deliver on the product? Now there is $24 million owed to farmers and he is asking for an investment of $10/acre with guaranteed purchases of $30/acre farmed. Not only that he is putting in $0 himself and is taking 50% of the company while likely giving away the other 10% to a friendly so he can have majority voting shares. But before you sign and submit all the forms you are required to buy a new membership with FMG in order to participate. These Mann’s are swindlers and they do not deserve to do business ever again.

@BantrySeedFarms @BDuchek I didnt think we would use our wash bay as much as we do. Once you have it there is always something in there being washed or thawed off.

Hmmm $121.00/acre for rent for mediocre land at the best near us and still 2 days left on the auction. Our drained stuff should be worth at least $160 then. Somebody must have a sharper pencil then me. That's ok though they can keep it. 😆😆 #AgTwitter

@rodkneewalter we have been able to keep it under 30 degrees celcius. Some hot spring days we had to stop pelleting

@KyleHeggie How hot is it after it’s gone through the pellet mill?

We’ve been making our own compost now for a few years now. Spreading it on the land with a manure spreader. we have now started first trials of pelleting it to go through the drill. Putting Organic Matter and plant available nutrients by the seed.
