Probably going to lose followers on this take but I’m siding with him on this one. He said Taylor’s name in an interview when asked about songwriting because she IS one of the most famous artists alive & because she’s one of the first artists you think of when it comes to songwriting.
If you read the original interview, he doesn’t say ‘Taylor’s songs are boring’. That’s just what people are choosing to twist his words into.
I fully agree with his last point- this type manufactured anger is what makes celebs give boring, safe answers that can’t be twisted.

This is one of those year’s you have a blue chip talent available out of the KHL, and Toronto’s desperately in need.
