Hollywood studios and media outlets do this thing where they blame the director for the problems of a project not going to plan when really what they mean here is that Chloe Zhao knew what to shoot and did her job but they wanted more and more unnecessary footage to be able to edit and distort her and the showrunners vision as a way to water down the reboot and take away their original style that would have worked. Even taking digs at the lead actor to make it seem their fault for falling through. Zhao saw right through the tricks and left as one should.

An elected official asked for a judicial warrant, and instead of producing one, they arrested her. They didn’t explain the law she broke… because there wasn’t one. And MAGA is watching a scripted TV episode, calling that “unfair” to ICE? Be serious. The show isn’t “demonizing” ICE, it’s depicting what people are literally recording on their phones. They’re not mad because it’s inaccurate… they’re mad because it’s recognizable. While Trump dodged the draft, Robert Mueller volunteered for the Marines after graduating Princeton. He was awarded a Bronze Star with combat V, rescuing a wounded Marine while under fire. He was later shot in the thigh, awarded a Purple Heart, and returned to lead his platoon.
