I get charging $80 for NMD or UConn, but an upper to Albany was $37!!! It's almost as if they've outsourced everything to the Bucks vendor who only care about this season.

When we did our game projections, I had this as a loss for #mubb. Losing a game like this is not an issue. Looking like they did on defense is. Lots to work on.

The #MUBB buy game attendance is down ~1,400 per game YTY. Now we see IU alums (not MU) get an alumni rate for the game in CHI. Meanwhile @muathletics marketing is impulsively texting alums 1K miles away about interest in mini-plans. Make it make sense

@CrackedSidewlks @MarquetteMBB Ticket office has been not great. ST price increase but don't include $100+ in "fees," when you check out. The IU Chicago game is 13 days away and the tickets are not in our account yet.

@ArmenSaryan @burner_craig The 2019 home Creighton game, they ran horns about 4 times in a row for 4 turnovers in the second half and lost. Not sure why Wojo wasn't running more side PnR with Markus and Sam (or gulp Joey).

@burner_craig Wojo actually had a lot of nice offensive stuff. A bit too much horns for me early on in his tenure though. Defense was a bigger issue for him.

Watching how Marquettes offense operated under Wojo and Shaka are night and day. However, there are a bunch of sets we used to run under Wojo that I wish we could get back to ie (ATO double screen for inbounder in the corner & this action here) love it.

There has been a lot of discussion about how Marquette manages the transfer portal, but after securing back-to-back commitments from four-star recruits Sheek Pearson and Ethan Johnston for the 2026 class in May, I wonder if people will begin to understand the Marquette way. #mubb

To those who ask me about UW’s ability to keep guys from the state. 1) there are so many good players in WI and such few spots. Guys obliviously will go all over the place 2) the teams I played with had the best in-state talent. Bronson, Josh, Showy, and myself were the best players in the state from our classes. So I don’t understand the argument. UW basketball does a great job building their rosters every year.

@scottjwillis There is no evidence that surgery is any better than conservative care for hamstring strains. It’s a bigger concern that this is standard at the club.

The Gabriel Magalhaes needing surgery news sucks. I know it is also bringing out an emotional response that the club has done something wrong because this is the third player needing hamstring surgery but I think the unfortunate answer is that sometimes bad stuff happens and you are not fully in control of it happening
