This is a hard read for the DDA haters and those saying Aki has been unmatched. Although Aki has played every game, so has had much more exposure (and easy to stand out vs Romania).

@SaffaStrachan Perhaps the thinking is Pollard generally better in the 1st half when the game is more structured, with Elton coming on for impact when it’s more loose?

Look at Elton’s shoulders, parallel with the defenders so the pass isn’t telegraphed. Perfect bullet pass to DDA running from depth. If Pollard is on the ball here we don’t score, his distribution is his weakness. I think it’s harsh Elton is on the bench this weekend.
