My oldest is 11 and at the age where all her friends have phones. Unfortunately for her, her parents won’t let her get one. So my wife came up with a compromise, and we’re one day into the experiment. To solve the legitimate issue of no-phone kids being left out of social planning, my wife joined a WhatsApp group with our daughter’s friends. She promised not to read the messages, and will tell our daughter when there’s a new one. Daughter can respond under supervision, because unfortunately for her she inherited basically zero self discipline from her father and we don’t trust her not to abuse the privilege. So we’ll see how it goes. I expect a failure of titanic proportion for a dozen reasons, but hope to be proven wrong.

@calisurfsup My dad died at 52. He was healthy, didn’t smoke, exercised, etc. My grandparents on my dad’s side both lived really healthy and died young. My mom, and grandparents on my mom’s side all drink, smoke, eat like shit, and they are all still alive and going strong. 🤷‍♂️

My dad was 6'3", 185 lbs, worked out every day, seldom drank, never smoked, and did his own lawn maintenance. He dropped dead at 62. Go out and enjoy life. Tomorrow is never promised.

Yes, they are talking about consignments and in the clip you hear him say the new owner will be responsible, but that doesn’t really mean anything legally. I believe they were stolen, but I think the family will lose in court because of Ben.

@JamesMac_Fit My kids were constantly exposed to sports. Around 6 they started playing soccer, swimming lessons, skating lessons etc. By 9 they both played club basketball. They are 14 now and both play basketball and track and field and play an instrument. Keep them busy and be present. 💯

As a young dad myself, I’m genuinely worried about my son growing up addicted to screens, phones, games, etc. It feels like EVERYTHING is designed to grab their attention these days. So I want to ask: - How do you actually manage screen time in your house? - What’s worked for you? - What’s failed? Would appreciate real answers from people who’ve been there 🤝

@TheK_Nox I’m almost 40 and started lifting weights this year and could do 135 for reps to start. Currently up to 165 for 5 reps and 185 one rep max. Goal is 225 for reps.

Would I be crazy saying the average man can’t bench press 135 pounds?
