It makes sense too, only Kara was old enough to actually be a part of the destruction of Krypton, & obviously that’s gonna fuck with someone’s head. But she’s literally a badass, & very clearly has way more character depth than a single post-credit scene could depict.

There’s not really a cinematic need for the CW Kara, who’s endlessly optimistic and set on always doing the right thing, because Clark Kent is already that. Naturally, every family needs a lovable, hot mess, fuck-up who chooses terrible ways to cope with trauma…

Was VERY disappointed with the hot mess, ditzy, drunken Supergirl at the end of Superman when I watched it. But I just watched the trailer for the movie and I take it back…she’s FANTASTIC.
