🎂 I volunteer to bake birthday cakes for kids in Foster Care/shelters This girl turning 4 asked for an Elsa cake I tried sugar work and it turned out so cute! I had 3 mini heart attacks and 1 existential crisis while breaking those sugar glass shards but LOOK AT THIS CAKE!

@mrmikeMTL Happened to me- went back to the cashier, sent me to Serv Desk. Desk was “put out” & said something like “You expect us to close her line down & balance her drawer NOW to see if you are right?” I replied “You telling me to walk out the door w/ the $20?” Whole line 🤣 & said GO!

Weird how the government can automatically register 18 year olds to the draft, but if the SAVE ACT is passed they need a birth certificate and a passport to register to vote.

I’ve heard from many Hoosiers who are rightly concerned about those serving in Congress unfairly profiting from their positions. I fully support a ban on stock trading by members of Congress, and I’ll be taking action on this soon.

The cartel networks of patronage have now infiltrated every sector of the Mexican economy. Tourism earnings equate to 9% of the economy but how much actually reaches the state coffers when the cartels own the taxis, the tour operators, the bars and restaurants and extract protection money from the entire hospitality value chain? Even without an external market for cocaine, the cartel would exist because they have bought political influence and taken hold of every sector of the economy.

We cannot honestly discuss violence in Mexico without acknowledging the United States’ role. The U.S. demand for drugs, the influx of U.S. weapons into Mexico, and cross-border money laundering all contribute to the conditions that enable this violence. What occurs here is not an isolated incident; it is the consequence of interconnected systems that span both countries. The United States has been destabilizing and disrupting countries and people by funding and arming various factions in conflicts and disseminating mass propaganda.
