MISSING | 17-year-old with severe autism missing from Encino, California Sara Nicole Castillo, 17, was last seen on Aug. 9 near the 5400 block of Zelzah Avenue in Encino, according to the LAPD. She was reported missing around 2 a.m. on Aug. 10 after her family discovered she wasn’t at home. Police say Sara texted her father, stating she had stepped out for air but was lost and unable to find her way back. Sara is described as a Hispanic female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 113 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray floral-patterned shirt, gray shorts, and pink sandals. Sara is new to Los Angeles & is unfamiliar with the area. LAPD WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS This past week, LAPD officers worked diligently to arrest criminals, disrupt crime, and invested time connecting with the community.

The LAPD football team went against our partners from the @LASDHQ in an epic and friendly rivalry showdown. The LAPD Centurions won by a score of 23-3. Although this was a contested battle, on and off the field, we stand united, partners in keeping all of LA safe. @joinlapd
