The Laboratory for Atmospheric & Space Physics is a full-cycle space institute at the University of Colorado with expertise in all aspects of space exploration.

Colorado is a mile closer to space, and we’re always looking to the skies! From the UFO Watchtower in the San Luis Valley (still waiting!) to world-class research at CU Boulder’s Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, our state leads in exploring the unknown.

We successfully integrated the TSIS‑2 payload onto its own GA‑150 satellite. For the first time, these instruments will operate from a dedicated platform. This milestone strengthens U.S. leadership in space science and supports global research. 🔗bit.ly/49cutEX

A space science instrument built almost entirely by @LASPatCU students is now more than 5.5 billion miles from Boulder, and it is still being operated by CU Boulder students today. Learn more about how it helped launch their careers. ↓ bit.ly/46b2mFa
