In partnership with @LASPatCU, @UCF, and @UCBerkeley, our Lunar Voyage 5 MAPP rover will support the DUSTER investigation—a groundbreaking study of lunar dust and plasma at the Artemis IV landing site. Astronauts will deploy and interact with our rover, enabling direct human-robot collaboration to study how dust behaves during lander liftoff, EVA, and more. DUSTER will help reduce risks to future missions by advancing understanding of lunar space weather, electrostatic dust, and crew safety.
