Organizing for justice since 1969 | Unionized Attorneys of The Legal Aid Society | Representing NYers across 5 boroughs | Part of @alaa2325 & the fighting @uaw

I’m a union organizer, Assemblymember, and democratic socialist running for Congress in NY-07. I came to politics through low-wage jobs and the labor movement. That’s the perspective I’ll bring to Washington to take on oligarchy, fascism, and war—and win for working people.

Our NYC CAP Council proudly voted to endorse our own @alaa2325 & @BxDUnion member @ConradforHarlem as our first endorsement in the 2026 cycle for State Assembly in District 70. Conrad is a public defender, a @UAW member-leader, & a committed fighter for the working class.

“Working people deserve lawyers who can afford to pay their rent." - @UAWRegion9A Director Brandon Mancilla Over 750 legal services workers with UAW @ALAA2325 are on strike in NYC to demand the funding, staffing, and support they need to deliver justice for low-income New Yorkers. Seven units of Local 2325 are currently on strike, with additional units potentially walking out next week. Tick tock!

As we struggle for recognition from @BronxWorks, we stand in solidarity with our comrades who are prepared to do all they can to fight for a fair contract!
