What is the point of pain? Or suffering? It is to find the joy from the growth. Sometimes it takes a while to grow what you have lost back, but it comes. Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven. Picture of the Provo Rock Canyon temple i took on a run a few days ago.

As a TCG enthusiast, I do see the argument to be made that it is gambling. However, at a large scale, which is most product openers, the risk evens out as you are guaranteed a certain number of rare cards per box. Now individual packs are definitely gambling and it has always been way smarter to buy the cards you want individually, which i do most of the time. I only get packs as prizes for tournaments, and its normally more packs for your dollar in tournaments than just buying them individually.

Seeing all the stuff about Japan today is pretty awesome! I've been a long time fan of Yu-Gi-Oh, and play the current card game pretty well! I'd really like to visit Japan someday, but that'll be a long ways off.

Rhetorical question, I'm sure, but I'll answer anyways. It's a mischaracterization of LGBTQI±√-1 individuals, as they (the left) believe that any law pertaining to "child rapists" automatically applies to LGBTQI±√-1, which in and of itself is demeaning of them to assume that, showcasing the mental gymnastics needed to be leaning left.

Apparently there’s a phenomenon on 𝕏 right now where if you post a picture of a steak you made, kind Japanese people will comment on it and tell you how amazing it looks. Let’s test it out: I could use the self esteem boost.

@Manhattva I'll assume around 25,000 people showing up (in Utah), and about .3 mls per shot per person. They probably got 2-3 shots for "safety" so I'll assume .75 mls per person. With those numbers, there's about 5 gallons of vaccine in their collective veins. Not as much as I thought.

Serious question, if someone’s willing to do the math here. How many gallons of vaccine and boosters are coursing through the veins of this crowd?

Today in #SaltLakeCity, participants in the ‘No Kings’ protest gathered at Washington Square Park before marching up State Street to the Utah State Capitol. The event, one of 18 ‘No Kings’ rallies held across #Utah, drew several thousand people. The demonstration was part of a coordinated nationwide day of action. Avoid the area due to some streets being impacted.

Having done some research these last few minutes, it seems that the phrase "a certain man" was "Ἄνθρωπός τις" in Greek, which is a common way of expressing what we would say as "once upon a time" We see this is Aesop's Fables where that phrase introduces a man who has a goose laying golden eggs. So I think they probably were hypotheticals, though he could have been referencing specific individuals when he used names.

IF the parables Christ told were not actual, literal history, does that make Christ a liar? I’d love to hear your reasoning in the comments. (Like and share to extend reach)
