Pituitary Apoplexy-
Patient presented with sudden onset headache, visual issues, and confusion—classic signs of pituitary apoplexy, a rare but critical condition caused by hemorrhage into a pituitary tumor. Patient was transferred 2 weeks after initial presentation but still had blurred vision and decreased peripheral vision.
- The Right MRI shows the hemorrhagic mass compressing the optic chiasm.
- The Left MRI is post-op, after an endonasal endoscopic transsphenoidal resection—complete tumor removal
Post Op-
✅ Vision significantly improved.
✅ Headache resolved.
✅ Patient discharged home neurologically intact.
