@Jasonsnell17 Let’s not forget notts took about 25,000 which is massive for a league 2 play off final. Had the other team been the same the attendance would have been impressive.

@natashaboo7 @its_Fraser_ @SUFCRootsHall Exactly this!! Shame as he is a top manager and would of got York promoted I think anyway. If he does end up at Southend it’s a great appointment for you and a great chance for him. !

@LGK131 @its_Fraser_ @SUFCRootsHall Yes, heard there were serious tensions behind the scenes for a while. It sounds like the relationship between him and the board was fractured long before the results on the pitch started to dip. The 'poor start' just gave them the excuse they were waiting for.

Adam Hinshelwood would be a superb appointment for @SUFCRootsHall. Young, ambitious and proven at this level. He transformed Worthing, handled pressure at York and plays exciting, attacking football Roots Hall would love. Fingers crossed the rumours are true. 🦐🦐

@natashaboo7 @its_Fraser_ @SUFCRootsHall He left York due to the on goings off the pitch before the play off game vs Oldham. He only kept his job over the summer because York fans would have be furious had he been sacked. After 4 games this season the chairman moved him on using a poor start as an excuse.

@its_Fraser_ @SUFCRootsHall He was basically sacked because York’s owners felt the club needed a “new direction” despite his strong overall record. Officially, York said they had “parted company” with him after a slow-ish start to the new season. Make of that what you will 🤔

Just over six years ago we were playing Sunderland in a league fixture, now we’re preparing for season six in the national league whilst they’re preparing for a European tour 🙃

Birmingham City Council (Pakistani) party. There are no cutlery because they eat with hands and the waitresses wear hijabs or burkas. God save English people.

Electing Nigel Farage as the next PM is honestly gonna be brexit 2.0. Your hatred, racism and bigotry is gonna be all our downfall. Well done 👏👏👏

We wake up to Reform dominating British politics. As Muslims, we should be very worried about the future of Britain. We have a few years until the general election. A Reform government and Farage as PM are very depressing.

@KieranMaguire @Scrumpydave66 I heard this yesterday from a National League player’s girlfriend. She was panicking that HMLR will catch up with it eventually.

Interesting comments from Ebbsfleet United on the Club website suggesting that some clubs in National League are paying players off book to save PAYE/NI. Certainly plenty of anecdotal evidence that this is an issue. Website also says that the Club adhered to a zero-tolerance policy on lowering standards and compliance in regards to financial matters and payroll. Good to see standards are being set. Also worth noting that in 2024/25 all but one Clubs in the National League have published their accounts for the season. One club has used a loophole to delay publishing their accounts for three months. That club is...Ebbsfleet United!
