New paper alert! A study by Kanishka Mallick in @EGU_BioGeo (bg.copernicus.org/articles/19/55…) demonstrates the advantage of a coupled ground heat flux-evaporation model constrained by #ThermalRemoteSensing for water-scarce and complex ecosystems.

In the #MonESCA project (monesca.lu), we monitor the challenging #Esca disease in #vineyards with #RemoteSensing and #drones. This gives valuable input for winegrowers' strategies. Colleagues from @LIST_Luxembourg , Luxsense Geodata and IBLA are supported by the IVV.

The EURANUS project @LIST_luxembourg, funded by @ESA, improves our understanding about #WaterStress consequences on #evaporation and #productivity by using #ECOSTRESS, #Sentinel2, #FLUXNET in #Europe and #Africa. Work is done by Kanishka Mallick & Tian Hu

Last week, Miriam Machwitz presented her work on #UAV data for viticulture at the annual assembly of the Luxembourgish wine grower community (#Wäibaudag). More than 150 wine growers, politicians, consultants, marketing experts, researchers, and other guests attended the event!
