@Paulie_Bruz I’d push back on this some. They essentially have the #1 pick because everyone knows Mendoza is 1. There isn’t the need to be this crazy secretive & lose their guy. They can take whoever they want.

Jets have focused on keeping leaks from getting out of their building since this regime took over. things have been rather quiet, all of a sudden 2 weeks before the draft they just decided to tell everyone their plans? Call me skeptical. Seems more like smoke than anything else.

@ConnorJRogers You’re 100% right. The only problem is the stories that Woody wants the #Jets to look for the big improvement for 2026. The Jets are not making the playoffs this year anyway but if Glenn and Mougey have to placate the owner again then we are doomed.

I hope Glenn figures it out this year but the Jets can’t make a pick at 2 based on what ‘helps them the most in 2026’ vs. what matters in 2027 and beyond
