@Andrew_Forrest1 @NCHSAA I agree. Looks to me like he’s just saying “ring” me because he knew they won the state title. Not showing up the other teams at all. Just harmless celebration.

Michael Warner shot 77 (NET 58) yesterday at Battleground CC in NJ. Over his last 20 rounds, Warner has shown the uncanny ability to play significantly better in competitive rounds. His average differential in a casual round is 21.9 compared to his 8.3 av diff in competition. Warner’s 77 produced a 4.2 differential, which was immediately hit with a 2-shot exceptional score reduction (ESR) since he was a 15.8 handicap index. He now has 15 scores on his record absorbing a 3-shot ESR since he fired another exceptional round earlier this month! 🔥#TheYipRule #golf #journalism

@FastbreakHoops5 Not true for the Hornets - they drafted both Kobe Bryant and SGA. Traded both on draft night. 🤦‍♂️

Haven’t posted on social in quite some time but can’t stay quiet in this time of loss. I’m struggling to tell all what Bobby Cox meant to me and so many others in Braves Country. He was the leader of men and a second father to so many Atlanta Braves thru the yrs. I’m so sad today, but as I sit here watching my two youngest boys play in their championship games on the day he passed, I can’t help but shout the same things he did from the corner of the dugout. ‘Come on kid, u got this!’ We are gonna miss him so much, but his legacy is forever cemented with the success of this franchise for the last 35+ yrs. He started it as GM, continued as manager, and passing the torch to others, the Atlanta Braves will continue to be force that Bobby Cox always wanted us to be. We love you Skipper. You were our rock. I love you more than words can express. My boys won both of their games…..Bobby had a hand, I have no doubt!

When Bobby Cox was the Braves GM, he drafted Tom Glavine, Steve Avery, David Justice and Chipper Jones, then he fired manager Russ Nixon, literally made himself the manager, and won 14 straight.

@Super70sSports For 53 years, Secretariat has held the track record for every Triple Crown race. He’s the unquestioned GOAT. For perspective, Golden Tempo won today’s Kentucky Derby in 2:02.27. Secretariat was 3 seconds faster. In a sport that uses fractions of seconds, 3 seconds is an eternity.

On this Kentucky Derby day, here’s your reminder that Secretariat was faster than any horse who has ever lived. The year is 1973 and this is his track record run. Untouched for 53 years. The GOAT.

Ravens are signing former Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia to a three-year deal, per source. Pavia was supposed to try out this weekend, but the Ravens signed him in advance.

I realize his off-field has caused some concerns, but Diego Pavia deserved better than a minicamp tryout with the Ravens. He did lead the Vanderbilt Commodores to a 6-2 SEC record, did beat Bama the season before, did scare Texas twice.

My boyfriend and I are planning to buy a house together after dating for 3 years. He earns significantly more than I do, so he’d be contributing about 70% of the down payment. Because of that, he wants the house to be only in his name. He says it’s just “fair” based on the numbers, but we’d both be living there, splitting bills, and building a life together. I’ve been watching a lot of relationship content about equity vs equality, and it made me realize things don’t always have to be 50/50 but this feels like I’d have no security at all. He said if we ever broke up, he’d “do the right thing,” but that doesn’t really reassure me. My friends say don’t move in unless my name is on it. His friends apparently think I’m being entitled. Now I feel stuck between trusting him and protecting myself. Is this a red flag I’m trying too hard to rationalize?

I cut this down from 6+ minutes. It’s gone too far. It wouldn’t hurt to start treating the main shop like Berckmans, which asks patrons to “refrain from bulk buying.”

@sunbeltburner @sam_golf You guys are hating on Sunbelt burner, but he’s 100% right. Have you seen it for the last 25 years. There’s even local teams that use running chairs as a fundraiser. A group of 10 kids will come in one chair each and buy 5 chairs each and put out 50 chairs for corps or families

Augusta Diaries Thur: -Man, this course is haaarrddd haha. Personally, what I remember about watching the Masters as a kid are these runs of birdies coming in and the winner taking the trophy with birdies and eagles. But the other side is that the margins are so so tiny. The difference between a great shot and a horrible result is so so small. -Great ex is 3 today. You had to land a wedge in a 4 yard area to hit that green. I landed it too short and came off the green. Zach landed it a little too far and it’s over the green. Similar thing on 15, that green (especially being newer) is so firm, I didn’t hold the green landing the ball a foot past pin high. -The greens are quite firm but I never once thought it was out of control. It was a great set up and a set up with some really difficult pins. -Because the margins are so small, those little gusts have a profound effect on the results. A little off and you’re making bogey or double in a heartbeat.

All I ever see is “who do you want to see win the Masters this year?” “Who you got winning?” Boring. Tell me who you would really hate to see wear the green jacket on Sunday.
