It can actually happen to anyone.
I once walked out of a pharmacy and straight into a car that looked identical to mine, the driver’s door was even open. I only realised I was in the wrong car when I sat down and the seat adjustment felt completely different. My heart skipped a beat. I quickly jumped out before the owner appeared.
Thankfully, no one noticed.

I actually had to give my son a talk today on how to act when accosted by police. I could sense that had I not been in the car, they might have harassed him when they stopped us. The boy is 16 but looks older.
If they want to see your phone, give them. If they ask for your ID, show them.
If they want to detain you, call or text me.
We will escalate if necessary.
