The SLS core stage's liquid hydrogen tank is fully filled! We will continue to top off the tank throughout the rest of the countdown as the liquid hydrogen naturally boils off. Stay tuned!

Tomorrow, we launch. At sunset tonight, Artemis II waits on the pad, ready to carry astronauts potentially farther than any humans have traveled in more than half a century. The next era of exploration begins.

Artemis II is on schedule for launch tomorrow at 6:24 p.m ET. We’re monitoring an extremely complex vehicle, but everything is lining up. The rocket is healthy, the spacecraft is ready, the crew is in position, and the weather is looking good. America is on track to return to the Moon.

The hype for Artemis II just hit me like a ton of bricks this morning over breakfast. I’ve been dreaming about this mission since 10 year old me could rationalize the concept. This mission is NASA getting back to doing what they do best. Godspeed Artemis II. 🫡

I'm honestly SHOCKED at how the general public has NO IDEA Artemis II is taking humans out to the moon and will be the furthest humans have ever flown. Every non-space nerd I've talked to has no idea. WE GOTTA GET PEOPLE STOKED!!!! THESE FOUR HUMANS ARE FLYING TO THE MOON!!!

Dragonfly is taking shape! @NASA's Dragonfly, led by @JHUAPL, recently had four fuel tanks installed at our campus in Colorado. This small car-sized rotorcraft is slated to launch in 2028 for a 2034 mission to study Saturn's moon Titan.

🌉🚂 125 years ago, the stunning Glenfinnan Viaduct opened to traffic in 1901. It was regarded as a remarkable feat of engineering and remains one of Scotland’s most iconic railway structures: 👉 networkrail.co.uk/stories/film-t…

A lawyer, a physicist, and a mathematician are on a train coming into Scotland. Out in a field, they can see a black sheep. “Look!” says the lawyer. “The sheep in Scotland are black!” “No,” says the physicist. “We can only say that some of the sheep in Scotland are black.” The mathematician sighs in exasperation at his companions’ sloppy thinking. “No. We can only conclude that there is at least one sheep in Scotland, one of whose sides is black.”

A new result of CMS agrees with LHCb: something is off in b -> sll decays This is incompatible with Standard Model expectations and remains one of the most puzzling results from the LHC
Andreas Crivellin@AndreasCrivell1

News from #Moriond The b->sll Anomalies are more than back. The CMS measurement (CMS-PAS-BPH-23-003) of Bs->phimumu is around 4 sigma below the SM, as expected from the other measurements

The little boy for whom Thomas the Tank Engine stories were written - Christopher Awdry, now 85 years old - is joining Pete Waterman on stage at Hammersmith Apollo 25th June. He'll be talking about the books, his father, Sodor and more, with never-before-seen footage and archive. Christopher has rarely made public appearances for the last 15 years or so - he's also popping over to @SwanRailway on April 11/12th - so if you've ever loved the books, this thoughtful night at the Apollo will be one you'll want to go to. Please do share this as there's no marketing budget - like much in the railway and literature worlds, it's a labour of love. Tickets are here: splot.seetickets.com/event/an-eveni…
