We’ve dumped an early prototype version of Zidane Football Generation for the Game Boy. This build was presumably a press preview version which ended up in someone’s hands after an embargo. Thanks to the community for the aid & support. Download link: archive.org/details/zidane…

A lot of people are wondering what the USB port on the DSpico is for. 🤔 Here are some examples of what you can do with it. Starting with the first one: "Using the DSi as a webcam for your PC. 🎥💻" #dspico

[Nintendo Switch 2 Leaks Compilation: Everything We Know About the Nintendo Switch Successor] Lots of information regarding the successor to the Nintendo Switch has been popping up over the last few weeks. While we have covered most of the trustworthy rumors and leaks, we wanted to compile everything we know about the next-gen Nintendo console. Let's start with performance: - The reality is that Switch 2 will be a very powerful handheld device, much more than you might expect. The PS5 and Xbox Series X will be 4 years old when the Switch 2 releases, and the Switch 2 hardware will be much more modern, especially thanks to DLSS. So, while raw power won't match current-gen consoles, image quality won't be far behind. - Comparing apples to apples here is just impossible; the architecture is too different, and we don't have enough info yet. However, it will be a gigantic leap over the original Switch, and Nintendo is using a lot of cutting-edge technology. Now let's dive into the leaks. We have divided them based on their trustworthiness rating, starting with leaks reported by multiple trustworthy sources that are highly likely to be accurate, and ending with rumors whose credibility is still up in the air. All but confirmed: - The screen will be 8 inches, LCD at least on one launch model. - Will use DLSS (version 3.5) to improve performance and support ray tracing. - 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. - 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. - Will use magnets to attach the new Joy-Con in some way. - Will be completely backward compatible with original Switch games (physical and digital) and will connect via Bluetooth to original Joy-Con and Pro Controllers. - 4K support while docked. - Uses the new NVIDIA Tegra T239. Other potential leaks: - Integrated microphone. - Launch in March 2025. - Sega, Atlus, Capcom, EA, Bandai Namco, Square Enix, and Koei Tecmo will immediately support the new console. - New physical cartridge format. - The size of the console will be between the original Switch and a Steam Deck, closer to the ROG Ally. - Will use new microSD Express cards for expandable storage, so your current microSD cards may not work. This new SD format will launch later this year and will be more expensive. Initially, these cards will be limited to 256 GB. Rumors that need more sources: - One new button on the back of each Joy-Con. - One new button below the Home button. - Kickstand will have a damping bracket. - Pokémon is already working on three projects for the new console. -------------- That's all for now. Any other rumors, especially regarding pricing or multiple SKUs are most likely fake, there are no other trustworthy leaks at the moment. Though, things are changing very quickly and it is likely that more information will be revealed in the coming weeks / months, so stay tuned for updates!

Sudomemo: Share Flipnotes on 3DS & DSi
IT WAS TEN YEARS AGO that Flipnote Hatena closed. It was around fifteen years ago that it opened. Nintendo's first real experiment with letting users create and share free-form content, in partnership with Hatena Co., Ltd. resulted in うごメモはてな, or Flipnote Hatena. To set the stage properly, you really have to remember the kind of tools and online communities that existed back then to really understand the environment that the Internet was back in 2008. Smartphones were not in everyone's hands, and online spaces and communication weren't anywhere close to being as centralized and monopolized as it is today. In 2008, YouTube was only three years old, Twitter was two, and MySpace was just coming down from its peak in popularity. Tumblr had only just opened a year prior. We've detailed the history of the development of Flipnote Studio before on the @FlipnoteArchive's History page. The development for Flipnote Studio began in late 2007, Ugomemo Hatena released in Japan in late December 2008, and it came to the rest of us in August 2009. It's hard to understate how much power this gave people to create animations who might never have tried it in the first place. Even today, while some people might try making animations on their phones, it's always been hard to draw with your finger, and there were far fewer tools -- and phones -- in those days. Countless artists and animators got their start on Flipnote Hatena -- many of whom have similar stories to those who have gotten their start as artists on Sudomemo within the past 9 years, something we're proud to be a part of. We'd like to invite all of you reading this to contribute something that you can remember, whether it's recreating a classic Flipnote, sharing stories of time spent on Flipnote Hatena, or digging up your old Flipnotes from the Flipnote Archive to share (visit flipnot.es/archive). Each and every Flipnote artist has played a part in keeping the spirit of this art form alive over the past 15 years. From those on Flipnote Hatena to Flipnote Gallery in Japan, to all of the wonderful Flipnote community members on Sudomemo, and other sites like Kaeru, all of you have contributed to one of the best art and animation mediums that I've ever had the pleasure of partaking in. THANK YOU. Happy Flipnoting. 🐸🦊 - @AustinSudomemo and Team @Sudomemo
