Hermes was the first non-light-water design permitted for construction in the U.S. in more than 50 years and will be used to inform the development of the company’s commercial reactor.

About 75% of all plastic used is either landfilled or cast into the environment, leading to microplastics that can cause harm to animals, plants and humans. UT researchers are studying how to reduce their harm on us and the environment.
