Today I am anxious. I’m spending the day cleaning my house and preparing for the worst because tomorrow night I start my first cycle of 12 rounds of chemotherapy. Almost a year of chemo. I’ve never done this before. This definitely was not on my bingo card. So far, I’ve managed brain surgery and 33 sessions of radiation fairly well. But this part feels unknown, and the unknown can be scary if you let your mind run too far ahead.

Daughter update, it has been confirmed she has stage 3 cancer in her shoulder. On June 15th she will meet with a doctor to start treatment and to see if it has spread. Thanks for all the prayers!

A sitting Congressman, Thomas Massie, welcomed someone like this into his personal circle. And before the excuses start, this was not some random handshake, public event photo, or crowd selfie. Massie brought him into his personal residence alongside others pushing the same anti-American rhetoric. Kentucky deserves answers. Why is @RepThomasMassie associating with individuals who openly cheer against American forces, encourage troops to abandon the military, and undermine our Commander-in-Chief? Gulf War veterans. Post-9/11 veterans. These are not background numbers. VETERANS are a political force. And every one of them deserves to know who Thomas Massie is allowing into his circle.
