I bet this was the fastest 3a mile relay ever run. We loved having some competition, hated losing, and grateful we get another chance in less than two weeks. 3:15.27 is two and a half seconds faster than our school record that won state in 1999. Proud of our dudes.

@itsmrsaulter2u @uiltexas If you want rules to change, you need to become active in your state associations such as @TTFCA and @LSACAssoc Their membership will then vote on these changes and take it to @uiltexas meetings.

@CoachADutch @CM1559845 @CoachDolphus I do know this - it could be better. The smaller regional meets could easily be hosted by a HS site. The coaching associations like @LSACAssoc and @TTFCA will have to lobby for changes their membership agree with. A united plan can be passed through UIL.

Idea for UIL Track that removes a round: Top 4 from district to region 8 regions of 4 districts each (16 competitors/event) Top 2 from each region to state (16 to state) State prelims and state finals. 2 day meet. Do prelims for one class between finals of another.
