The amount spent on SNAP annually is about TWICE as much as what has been spent on the IRAN war to date. And the money the US has spent on the Ukraine war is about TWICE what is spends on SNAP. Referring to SNAP as $6 a day rather than $100 billion per year is your attempt at political deception.

The way we are micromanaging how families in need spend their $6/day and not how our government spends over a trillion dollars a year on WAR with close to zero accountability is a glaring example of what is wrong with politics in this country. Look over here so you don’t look over there. It’s deflating to see what they do for votes, and who they make you point the finger at, so you don’t point it at them. It doesn’t have to be this way. We can demand better.

Schools pour huge resources and tons of money to try and support the lowest performers. But does that come at the expense of middle and high achievers? Should we rethink the balance?
