@ABishopGustavo Better immigration laws. If we were “pro-life” enough they wouldn’t have to hide to enter.. they would have find us the Church where they know they would be protected, loved and cared for… some Catholics dislike catholic charities for helping immigrants.

Congrats @USCIS. You denied our DACA client an expedite on an advance parole document to visit a terminally ill grandparent & then denied an expedite to go to the funeral because it's no longer an emergency.

The House language will dramatically reduce green card backlogs if not eliminate them entirely for FAMILY, EMPLOYMENT and DV. Let your members of Congress know this language MUST remain in the legislation.

@jeffjoseph @AILAExecDir @AILANational A reminder - an immigration bill has not passed in Congress which passed through its immigration committees in 17 years. A lot of people voted for Democrats in 2020 to change this. Time to step up and pass bills.

Today I want to appreciate the work from home Wednesdays with extended prep time @CTULocal1 won for many (not all) of us. As a result, after school I had the energy to walk 2 miles, attend a PD, not yell at my children, and make myself a pretty good sandwich.
