@LXunchained Yeah I go back and forth on how much alpha I believe is available to short term programatic retail traders. Even if there is some left it’s one of the toughest games to win.

L’une de mes principales appréhensions lorsque j’ai transféré le compte-titres de ma holding en banque privée, c’était de ne plus pouvoir passer moi-même mes ordres d’achat et de vente depuis mon téléphone, ayant toujours eu l’habitude de pouvoir le faire moi-même, Les potentiels délais de traitement m’effrayaient un peu, ayant toujours eu l’habitude de travailler avec des banquiers assez peu réactifs. (De ce que j’en ai vu, aucune banque privée n’offre cette possibilité pour le moment, encore moins pour l’achat de titres US.) Mais je dois dire que j’ai été très agréablement surpris de la réactivité de certains banquiers privés. 4 minutes chrono pour un passage d’ordre pour mon renfort sur Booking hier après midi. Et, de manière générale, les dizaines d’ordres que j’ai eu à passer ont toujours été traités en moins de 20 minutes. Que ce soit par mail, téléphone ou via WhatsApp. Quand je compare ça avec mon banquier traditionnel, qui met 3 jours à répondre à un mail basique et qui est injoignable en direct par téléphone, C’est un tout autre niveau de qualité de service, Et ça fait du bien.

@CryptoPicard Building profitable trading bots is finally much harder than I thought when i started, but also the prize is gigantic bc if it works you can just let it compound and deploy more capital/ scale.

@LXunchained Where do you think trading with AI goes in the next 12-24 months? What does that look like?

@CryptoPicard I think 95% (if not 99%+) of trading vol is already done by algorithms. I think the markets will become more and more efficient , but also there will be much more opportunities for us all . Very interesting time Abundance for all 😜

For better or worse it would take several months to pull it off. It’s not even 100% about the upside from the AI trade. There is just so much content to consume and tools to play with that I don’t have even close to enough time. I literally started reading 5 new books this week alone. That’s not to even speak of the articles, videos, conversations etc

Is Brazil is the next big play? 🇧🇷 The Federal Tax Authority has just passed a new resolution called COSIT 56/2026. They regulated US LLCs in this simple way: 15% tax on profits, that's it. No complicated Brazilian accounting and no multiple little random taxes, like it happens with local companies. Just 15%, same on capital gains. That's a 70% discount on your European/Canadian/Australian taxes, to wake up every morning to altinha games in Copacabana and moqueca de camarão. Not 0% but credible, freshly regulated, in a country that did realize the existance of US LLCs (Paraguay still has a loophole there, but they will wake up one day). Cost of renting in Rio/Floripa is now the same (or slightly lower) as Asuncion, measured in USD. 100x cheaper than Panama/Dubai. A full-time domestic employee is actually cheaper. Way easier citizenship. So what's best? 0% in a ghost city in Panama at expensive prices? 0% in Paraguay but having to move constantly between countries or accepting to spend your whole life between Del Sol and Paseo? 0% in Dubai at sky-high prices, surrounded by scammers and hoes, and with missiles flying over your head every other day? Or 15% to have ocean, mountains, carnaval, samba, surf, bossa nova, freshly caught seafood, same meat as Paraguay, cultural events, Formula 1, Web Summit, biggest networking events of South America, direct flights to EVERYWHERE (Rio/SP), no holes in the street, Uber Black, great gyms, great garotas, huge concerts, art exibs every weekend, insane museums, hikes, agua de coco, great hospitals and a strong passport that is actually easy to get? Adjusting for the whole thing: - Tax rate - Tax compliance cost - Cost of living - Quality of life - Citizenship pathways it can stare in the eyes of Py, Panama or Dubai and flex, with this new LLC regulation. A one-page addition quietly attached to yesterday's $1.8 billion settlement permanently bars the IRS from examining Trump's tax returns, his family, and his companies. The original settlement said nothing about taxes. This showed up the next day. Former IRS commissioner Danny Werfel said he was "unaware of a single precedent where the IRS has agreed in advance to permanently forgo examination of previously filed tax returns for a specific person or business."
