You come from a country that is renowned for a floating slum called Makoko (the Venice of Africa) while Soweto has hosted the FIFA World Cup in 2010 and home to the biggest stadium on the continent among other things that your entire shithole country could never achieve.

I asked this and they said Kenyans are generally non invasive people who create no ripples in the system— they don’t sell drugs, they come to the country legally and generally integrate well without exploiting the system for welfare benefits. In short we are disciplined.

Earlier today I summoned the Acting South African High Commissioner to Ghana, Mr. Thando Dalamba.
At the meeting, I conveyed the Government of Ghana’s strong condemnation of the continuous xenophobic attacks on Ghanaians and other Africans living in South Africa.
We are urging South African authorities to take decisive action in protecting the human rights and dignity of our nationals and all Africans.
Ghana equally expects that the promised investigations be expedited and all perpetrators punished to serve as adequate deterrence.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will communicate other steps we have taken in due course.
