One of the worst sessions I ever had I was playing a really loose good game in Indiana. I got hit right out the gate with a boat over boat and bought back in. I was playing really well. Very disciplined, yet also with a good VPIP. I had built back up and got into a hand where I flopped the higher set over set. I had been running poorly. The luck wasn’t on my side that day. The force wasn’t with me. So when I realized I hit the higher set I was tickled pink! 💕 This guy had pocket 2’s and there was a 2xTx6x. He went all in and I called. The turn was a 6. I was happy because I was taking down this huge pot finally after like 7 hours. I was definitely going to play like 20-30 more minutes of folding and leave. The river was a 2. I wanted to scalp myself! I just wanted to go to my car and throw up. So gross! The joy of poker. Poker life isn’t for the faint of heart.
