ICU Hemodynamics: Fluid responsiveness using IVC & SVC diameter changes: If you want to get a headache, read all the articles & textbooks referring to IVC & SVC collapsibility & distensibility (and their formulas) as markers of fluid responsiveness. It's a total mess...

@IM_Crit_ IVC should be for assessing congestion, not FR anymore… except in some caricatural situations maybe. Remember that we should ask the right question when evaluating a parameter. Still, probably one of the most used with CVP….
