@KatyKray73 In Australia, the solar panels installed on grazing land are suspended 150-200cm above the ground so that cattle and sheep can graze beneath them. The panels condense water from the air over night, improving grass growth and provide shade for the stock during the day. /2

I wonder what this little boy is up to now. Back in 2015, a college student in the central Philippines walked past a McDonald’s drive-through at night and saw a nine-year-old kneeling on the pavement, using a wooden stool as a desk, finishing his homework by the light spilling out of the restaurant. His family had no electricity. She took a photo, posted it to Facebook, and the world saw him within a week. His name is Daniel Cabrera. His father had passed two years earlier. He, his mother and his brothers were living inside a wall-less roadside food stall his mother watched at night for around $1.77 a day. He owned one pencil and kept a rosary in his bag to ward off thieves. After the photo, donations, scholarships and a permanent room for the family poured in from around the world.
