@ONS Unemployment was 5.1% in the last quarter and 5% this quarter, so isn't that 0.1 percentage points down? Am I missing something here? thanks

In November to January the employment rate was down 0.3 percentage points on the previous quarter (August to October 2020), while unemployment was up 0.1 percentage points. The economic inactivity rate was up 0.3 percentage points ow.ly/V4Cc50E5Smm

@LaithKhalaf1 Hi Laith. the £875bn figure would be Government gilts only. There is £20bn in the CBPS which takes the overall figure to £895.

The Monetary Policy Committee voted unanimously to maintain #BankRate at 0.1% and to inject an additional £150bn into the economy through quantitative easing.

Writing a paper on how asset managers might go back direct with more/cheaper digital choices available. And growing DIY numbers. Will they go back into direct in force over next 3 years? Thoughts? Inevitable? Bonkers? What would propositions look like?
