@Timcast It looks to me like he had his gun removed before the shots happened. You hear someone yelling "gun, gun!" then that guy in grey flinches and appears to shoot the protester. I think it's most likely confusion in the chaos. No one had to die though.

Peretti was a radicalized leftist who wanted to "dearrest" and obstruct. He refused to be detained and fought feds.
They saw the gun, yelled GUN Gun and he got shot.
There's no reason to think he was trying to massacre LEOs
